Billion, that’s really a huge number. This sound attracts everyone’s attention in every field. Facebook owned, WhatsApp has hit 1 billion user mark. Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has appreciated the efforts of Jan and Brian in connecting the world. Facebook has hit the billion user milestone recently. WhatsApp has transformed it’s fan base from million to billion in a very short span of time. WhatsApp is the most downloaded app at the time of it’s initial launch. WhatsApp is the best instant messaging client and it works on Cross-platforms like Android, Windows and iOS, compatible with any kind of the SmartPhone. WhatsApp was launched by Jan Koum and Brian Acton. Jan Koum got the idea of creating WhatsApp after introduction of Appstore. So, he did it by basing on a word “what’s up.” However, they both completed making WhatsApp on Feb 24, 2009 in California by corporating WhatsApp Inc. But, the interesting thing is that Jan Koum and Brian Acton were rejected at Facebook’s Interview initially.
Later on, due to massive growth and bang-hit of WhatsApp, Mark Zuckerberg contacted Jan Koum and proposed to merge WhatsApp with Facebook. After a deal worth accepted by Jan Koum, he joined Facebook as one of the Managing Directors at Facebook. And still he is working there itself. The deal is actually worth of 19.3 Billion US dollars officially. Jan was now a billionaire, from no-where to one of the most influential persons in the tech.
However, today’s hot topic is that WhatsApp hit 1 Billion Users mark by today. A very big achievement to be said in a very short span of time. It revolutionized the entire App Business around the world. Now, it is the one and only app to gain that much reputation in such a short period of time. It if goes on like this, no other app can ever reach the position of WhatsApp. So, according to my perspective WhatsApp is a great, simple and safe application for any smartphone. Because of its extensive rules and constrictions, it isn’t likely to be hacked or exploited. Anyway,1 Billion Users are the new Score for WhatsApp as of today.
So, how many of you use WhatsApp? I think almost all of you will use it. Yes..!! That’s Good. Even I cann’t resist from using it. Such an addictive app it is.
