Google To Merge Chrome OS into Android Soon. According to The WallStreet Journal, Alphabet’s Google is planning to merge its Chrome OS into Android, which can become a revolution in modern gen. And it also stated that there are going to be dramatic changes in Future ChromeBooks, due to this merger.

“There’s a ton of momentum for Chromebooks and we are very committed to Chrome OS,” Android and Chrome OS SVP Hiroshi Lockheimer said on Twitter. And there is a confusion among all that what would be the name of the new Android Developed after this Merger. Many are waiting to hear its name and Google said it isn’t yet decided and Chrome OS name remains same,even after this merger. Although, Google yet to confirm the things officially — a Google spokesperson declined to comment on The Wall Street Journal story — the company has taken steps to merge Chrome OS and Android. Google Engineers working hard for this merger and it is likely to be revealed in 2017, according to reports.
