Google says that AlphaGo is most advanced AI which is capable of beating the world Go champ, Lee Sedol. The AI, AlphaGo is designed and developed by DeepMind which was acquired by Google in 2014. Google AlphaGo is the Artificial Intelligence developed by Google DeepMind which is going to compete with the world Go champion, Lee Sedol. The match is going to be broadcasted live on YouTube. Lee Sedol is the world champion of the Go game. AlphaGo is a system of neural networks built and designed by Google DeepMind which it says is capable of defeating the world Go champion, Lee Sedol. DeepMind‘s AlphaGo will take on the world champ Lee Sedol in the month of march and the match will be broadcasted live on YouTube.

Go, is said to be one of the toughest challenges for a computer, far harder than chess. Go is a simplified Chinese game which has originated more than 2500 years ago. The Go champion, Lee Sedol hails from South Korea and the match is expected to take place in Seol from March 9th to 15th. The match between Google‘s AI, AlphaGo and Lee Sedol is a 5-series match which has a prize money of $ 1 Million.

Demis Hassabis, founder of DeepMind has announced the details of the competition on twitter. AlphaGo has previously competed with the Go champion of Europe, Fan Hui and has successfully defeated him. The European champ was defeated with 5-0. It was really a shame for the champ. DeepMind is a British-based artificial intelligence startup bought by Google in 2014. Go is really a simple game but has a vast number of outcomes. As a result, it is really tough to design a artificial system that can efficiently play Go. AlphaGo is one of the most advanced AI which is said to be released a decade earlier than expected.
