Fight between google and BMW:Alphabet.com is the cause. Google, as you already know is a tech giant controlling the world of internet and technology. BMW which stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (German) is a German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company founded in 1916. It all started when Larry Page, co-founder and CEO of Google announced that Google and all its subsidiaries will now be controlled by a parent holding company named Alphabet (www.abc.xyz).
So now what BMW has to do with Alphabet? Alphabet.com is owned by Alphabet, a BMW-owned fleet management service. It is surprising and amusing that a tech giant like Google hasn’t secured the domain of its parent company. In Trade Mark point of view, it is okay if the same name has been used for a different category of items but what is note taking is that Google has started manufacturing of unmanned Cars. Since BMW has a rock solid business of automotive manufacturing, let’s see what happens next. BMW has also made it clear that Alphabet.Com will not be sold to Google, no matter how much Google pays for it.
